Maple Cranberry Candle

Autumn is upon us and so is the warmth of the holiday season! To kick off Native American heritage month we are introducing Maple Cranberry.

Natives tribes like the Haudenosaunee and Mi'kmaq used maple for trading and to season food rather than salt. Algonquin, Lenape, and Chippewa used cranberries mixed with bear fat to make pemmican or to dye textiles like porcupine quills.

For our candles, this mix of maple sweetness is balanced by tart cranberry. It is rounded out by  hint of cinnamon scent from the Wild Cinnamon that is native to Florida and the Caribbean.
